How working mums find the work life balance?

How working mums work life balance

This month, considering it is international women's day, we would like to share a few examples of how incredible women are. While women in general are inspirational leaders, mothers are the masters of multi-tasking. In this blog post we will have a look at how working mums work their magic to maintain a healthy work life balance. Here are 8 tips on boosting your work and mum life balance.

  1. Empower.

You are part of an incredible community raising the future of our country. You must empower yourself and others. Love thy fellow mother is one of the best ways to strive towards a healthy balance. Sometimes, it takes a village to raise a child, so believing in yourself and others around you is key. Support others, and if you ever need help, you will find others willing to support you.

  1. Stay positive and Optimistic.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself and your kids, is to avoid people with negative energy. You only have so much time for you or your children, so try and fill every moment with beauty and positivity. You will see that when you choose positivity, everything else around will also become easier. It is vital to remember that you cannot control how people behave, what happens in your everyday life, but you can control how you react. So, react happy and see how the universe responds.

  1. Take time for yourself.

It is easy to get lost in responsibilities in both work and home life. For this reason, you need to designate time just for yourself. Even a few minutes every day will come back tenfold. Make sure to take care of your mind and body through healthy eating, relaxation, your favourite book, or a bath. If you do want to pamper yourself a little bit more, then invest in a skincare treatment! This month we are running a special for wonderful women like you to win a $500 skincare and beauty treatment package.

  1. Disconnect from the world.

In addition to taking time for yourself, it is important to disconnect from devices. You may consider taking 10 minutes to scroll through your phone as a break, but your brain and body will not reach ultimate relaxation. Once you disconnect from the internet, you give yourself an opportunity to breathe and reset. Try making your bedroom a device free zone or schedule in several hours in the day when you stay away from your phone.

  1. Get House Help

With a busy work and family life, you may feel overwhelmed with chores. Do not take them all on! You can ask your husband, kids, babysitters, or hire a cleaner to help with the chores. There are only so many hours of the day, so sometimes make the decision to take care of yourself first!

  1. Order Online

The internet has given us access to so many things with just a few quick taps. Whether you want to deliver some food, your groceries, or even meal kits! There are so many companies out there who are created just to make your life convenient. Some send you monthly deliveries of toilet paper, some send razors, and others can even send you intimate gifts so you can pamper yourself!

  1. Reprioritise

Sometimes the best thing you can do is sit back and take a large-scale view of your life. It is okay to reprioritize and make difficult choices. If something is not working, then you may want to consider switching up your routine or decisions. Try to get out of your own head and have a look at your situation from an unbiased place. It's easy to feel as if you are not doing enough, however in reality you are a superwoman.

  1. Plan ahead.

Routine, planning, and scheduling is your best friend for the best work life balance. Preparation today will help you tomorrow. You can reprioritize your time, meal prep, schedule play dates, and order groceries online all to help maximise your days.

If you are a mother, we would love to hear about any other tips you have to balance work and home life. We think you are amazing and deserve a lot more than just one day a year dedicated to you! We would also like to remind you to make sure to take care of yourself, and that you do deserve to be pampered.
