Important: Purpose of Our Services
Wonderlab's treatments, programs, and services are designed for prevention, enhancement, and general wellbeing — not for the diagnosis, treatment, or management of medical conditions, illness, injury, or surgical outcomes.
Our skin and body treatments are non-invasive wellness and cosmetic services intended to enhance your wellbeing, support skin health, and promote self-care.
Our psychosocial compliance programs and workplace assessments are designed to support organisational wellbeing, risk awareness, and preventative workplace practices — they do not constitute legal, HR, or clinical psychological advice.
⚠️ If you have a pre-existing medical condition, skin condition, illness, injury, or any health concerns, please consult a qualified medical professional before booking or attending any Wonderlab service. Wonderlab practitioners are not medical doctors and our services do not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Our Practitioners & Service Delivery Partners
Wonderlab delivers services through a combination of in-house team members and carefully selected external practitioners and specialists. By booking or enrolling in a Wonderlab service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Who May Be Involved in Your Service
Depending on the service you book, your treatment, program, or assessment may be delivered or supported by one or more of the following:
- Skin and body therapists — licensed beauty and wellness therapists who perform treatments and conduct consultations
- Wellness coaches — qualified coaches who facilitate personal development, leadership, or wellbeing programs
- Physiotherapists and allied health practitioners — registered practitioners who may support body wellness or movement-based programs
- Clinical psychologists or mental health practitioners — registered under AHPRA, engaged for psychosocial safety programs or wellbeing services
- Facilitators, professors, and subject matter experts — professionals engaged to lead CPD programs, workshops, or educational content
- Psychosocial safety consultants — specialists engaged to conduct or support workplace assessments and compliance programs
Your Consent to Practitioner Access
By completing a consultation form and booking a service, you consent to your relevant consultation records, health background, and program information being accessed by the practitioner(s) directly responsible for delivering your service. Information is shared on a need-to-know basis only — a physiotherapist, for example, will not have access to your psychosocial workplace assessment responses, and vice versa.
Practitioner Obligations
All Wonderlab practitioners — whether employed or contracted — are required to:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of your personal and health information
- Comply with their relevant professional codes of ethics and registration requirements (e.g., AHPRA-registered practitioners)
- Not disclose your information to any third party outside the scope of your agreed service
- Practise within their professional scope and refer you to an appropriate medical or specialist provider if your needs fall outside that scope
Referral to External Practitioners
Wonderlab's practitioners may, in the course of your service, recommend that you consult an external medical professional, GP, dermatologist, or specialist. Such referrals are made in your best interest. Wonderlab does not accept responsibility for the services, advice, or practices of external third-party practitioners not engaged directly by Wonderlab.
Wonderlab Wellness is a corporate wellness centre providing therapeutic treatments only. Professional spa services - no sexual services offered.
Medical Disclaimer
- Wonderlab does not diagnose, treat, or manage medical or clinical conditions of any kind
- Our services do not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Wonderlab or any of its practitioners
- Results from treatments may vary between individuals depending on skin type, health history, lifestyle, and other personal factors — no specific outcomes are guaranteed
- If you experience any adverse reaction, discomfort, or health concern during or after a treatment, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately
- Wonderlab is not liable for any health-related outcomes that arise from failure to disclose relevant medical history on consultation forms
Skin & Body Treatment Bookings
Before Your Appointment
- All new skin and body treatment clients are required to complete a consultation form prior to their first appointment. This includes relevant health history, skin concerns, current skincare routines, known allergies, and any contraindications
- Please disclose all relevant medical information accurately — incomplete or inaccurate disclosure may affect your treatment safety and outcomes
- Wonderlab reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment where it determines, in its professional judgement, that a treatment is not appropriate for your current health or skin condition
Skin Analyser Assessments
- A skin analysis may be conducted as part of your consultation to better understand your skin profile
- Skin analyser data, including images and condition readings, will be stored in your client record and used to personalise your treatment plan
- You will be asked for consent before any photographs or digital skin scans are taken
During and After Treatment
- You are responsible for following any pre- and post-treatment care instructions provided by your Wonderlab practitioner
- Failure to follow aftercare advice may affect results and is not grounds for a refund or credit
- Please inform your practitioner immediately of any discomfort or unexpected reaction during your treatment
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment will be rescheduled at no charge
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service value
- No-shows will be charged the full service value
- Wonderlab reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., facilitator illness), and will provide reasonable advance notice where possible
Gift Cards
- Gift cards are strictly non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash under any circumstances
- Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase
- If a gift card holder is unable to use their gift card for a service (e.g., due to a contraindication identified at consultation), Wonderlab may, at its sole discretion, issue a store credit redeemable against other Wonderlab products or services
- Gift cards cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged — please retain your gift card details securely
- Gift cards must be presented or quoted at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively to completed transactions
- Gift cards are not valid on public holidays unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase
Treatment Packages
- Treatment packages are non-refundable once purchased
- If you are unable to use a purchased treatment package (e.g., due to a change in personal circumstances or medical contraindication), Wonderlab may, at its sole discretion, offer a credit redeemable against other Wonderlab products or services of equal or lesser value
- Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, are non-transferable, and hold no cash value
- Unused sessions within a package do not carry forward beyond the package expiry period unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Package sessions must be booked within the agreed timeframe and cannot be shared with another person unless expressly permitted by Wonderlab
Corporate Programs & Compliance Services
- All corporate wellness programs, psychosocial compliance retainers, and self-leadership programs are subject to a separate service agreement or scope of works, which will be provided prior to commencement
- Cancellations or modifications to corporate programs must be made in accordance with the terms set out in the relevant service agreement
Psychosocial Risk Assessment Forms
By submitting a workplace assessment form (such as the Psychosocial Risk Readiness Checklist), you acknowledge that:
- The information is used solely to generate an organisational risk profile and tailored recommendations
- Results are confidential to your organisation and will not be shared with third parties without your consent
- The assessment is a screening tool only and does not constitute formal legal, HR, psychological, or WHS compliance advice
- Organisations should seek qualified independent advice for formal compliance obligations under the Model Code of Practice: Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work, ISO 45003, and applicable state regulations
- By submitting, you consent to Wonderlab processing your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
